Origins

Originally from the Mediterranean basin, Rosemary grows in arid and sunny terrains. It therefore takes root without difficulty in our Corsican scrubland, from the seaside up to higher altitudes. When verbenone rosemary is distilled by hand, the water from the first half-hour of distillation is preserved because that is where the active plant principles are most concentrated.

Corsican Rosemary, whose specific chemotype is verbenone, is renowned for its beneficial effects on the liver. Whether as an annual preventive cure or to cleanse an overloaded body, it is an essential for your detox cures.

Antioxidant, purifying and astringent, verbenone rosemary hydrosol is ideal for oily skin or oily hair. It is a very good cleanser for problem skin. It renews energy and boosts your culinary recipes.

Properties: Detoxifying, digestive, purifying, tonic, aids concentration.

Areas of action: Liver detoxification (hepatic overload, congestion, slow digestion), weight gain and water retention before menstruation, care for combination and oily skin, acne, hair loss, dandruff, oily hair, flavoring dishes.

Quality

Appearance:Clear liquidColour:ColourlessOdour:Herbaceous, fresh, pungent

Wild harvesting:Endemic Corsican plants are harvested from selected, declared, and annually verified natural sites on the island. They are therefore certified Certisud, as are the essential oils and floral waters obtained. As distillers for over 30 years, our approach aligns with sustainable management of plants and the environment. Our harvesting method complies with the " Corsican PPAM Harvesting Charter ".

Precautions for use

Hydrolates are milder substances than essential oils. They have no intrinsic contraindications.

However, this does not exclude the possibility of you reacting to the active ingredients they contain (if in doubt, do an elbow crease test).

Storage: Please note, floral waters are fresh products. Their shelf life is therefore shorter than that of essential oils (approximately 1 year). To maximize it, be sure to store your hydrolates in a cool place, away from air, heat, and light.
