Origins

Laricio Pine essential oil invigorates the mind and invites meditation. It is very suitable for people who are tired or convalescing. Purifying and decongestant, it cleanses the air and improves respiratory comfort.

Circulatory and soothing, it is of great help for joint, muscle, and circulatory pain when used in a massage oil.

Endemic to the island, the Laricio Pine grows in the Corsican mountains, between 900m and 2000m altitude. To extract the essential oil, the needles are first crushed before being distilled by steam. In about 2h30, up to 3kg of essential oil is obtained from 1 ton of plant material.

Less famous than its cousin, Scots Pine, Laricio Pine nevertheless deserves to be known. Its essential oil, gentler and just as powerful, proves to be very beneficial for both body and mind.
