Compact shrub with dark green, evergreen, shiny leaves, with no thorns. Very fragrant white flowers. The Meyer lemon tree is very productive, producing lemons with thin, smooth, bright yellow skin, turning ochre-orange when fully ripe, particularly juicy and significantly less acidic than classic lemons.
